- Set up a production-grade local Kubernetes environment using kind. Deployed a containerised Python microservice with liveness/readiness probes, Deployment controllers, ReplicaSets, and ClusterIP Services.
- Deployed the full kube-prometheus-stack via Helm. Instrumented the app with a /metrics endpoint wired via ServiceMonitor CRD (automatic target discovery, no manual scrape config).
- Configured Alertmanager. Slack routing with Kubernetes Secrets, AlertmanagerConfig CRDs, and Go-template formatting.
- Building an Auto-Remediation Agent: pattern-matching engine maps live alerts to a runbook catalog (OOMKilled, PodCrashLooping, DiskSpaceFull, ...) and executes fixes via the Kubernetes API.
